It was April 12, 1984, when the doctors told my parent "ITS A BOY" and out the the same breath "we don't know if he's going to make it through the night." Its now 26 years later and I'm still here making history with in my family. The first to graduate from college with a four (4) year degree. The first to become a parent of a Greek letter Fraternity. Now the first to be enrolled in a graduated program.
Your story is inspirational and no doubt a miracle! 3 years ago we lost my 3 month old niece to a brain tumor so I could imagine what anguish your family must have felt at the doctor's words. You are here today and making your stamp in your family's history and making a difference in the field of early childhood education. That is awesome!
